I created Downtown Wixom, a motion graphics piece for the City of Wixom designed to promote and celebrate the downtown district by highlighting its landmarks, businesses, history, and community spaces.

The challenge was finding a way to communicate the story and character of downtown Wixom in a format that felt engaging, approachable, and visually dynamic. I wanted to transform information about the area’s history and attractions into a piece that would connect with both residents and visitors while maintaining a clear and cohesive visual style.

I developed the visual direction, supporting illustrations, typography, and animated graphics to create a storytelling experience that guided viewers through the history and identity of the downtown area. Using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects, I designed and animated the elements to create movement, hierarchy, and a natural flow of information.

The final piece combines motion design and visual storytelling to create an engaging introduction to Downtown Wixom, showcasing the area’s character while making its history and community highlights accessible to a wider audience.
